Dil Juunglee is an Indian film that was released in 2008. It stars the famous actress Priyanka Chopra and has splendid music by Vishal Sethi with lyrics by Irshad Kamil. It tells the story of three teenagers who form an amateur group to compete in a national band competition. Despite its young stars, it received positive reviews for its realistic portrayal of life as teenagers, especially the difficulties faced by adolescents today due to peer pressure and their thirst for popularity. The movie center's around three friends - Rahul (Mithun Chakraborty), Akhilesh (Siddharth Shukla) and Siddharth (Priyanka Chopra). Siddharth, with his 'star' image, is loved by all in college and has a big fan club. While he isn't too academically inclined, he nevertheless maintains a good average in his studies and works part-time in a local recording studio with his two friends. Siddharth also loves to sing and composes music with his friends in their free time in the studio. He then tries out for a competition and is selected in the band along with Akhilesh and Rahul. Akash, who is an engineer, is the lead guitarist in the band. He has a crush on Aarohi (Sameera Reddy), whom his father married after their first meeting after she agreed to marry him at the first meeting only. But on Aarohi's birthday, Akash starts to have a change of heart and decides not to marry her. However, his father disagrees with him and tries to change his mind by throwing a party for Aarohi. But he refuses to take part in it and decides to leave for good with the help of Rahul. Akash's father who is an orthodox person catches him while he is leaving the house and gets involved in a fight with Akash. But Akash tells his father that he loves Aarohi, but loves his freedom more than anything else. However, when Aarohi comes to know about this, she agrees to help them get back their freedom. She tells her father that she loves Akash very much and wants to marry him. Her father accepts her decision and allows the marriage to take place once again after they get their freedom. Meanwhile, Rahul falls in love with Shruti (Neha), whom he met at college but didn't talk to her because of his insecurity towards talking to girls. He decides to win her over by forming a band. But he is soon faced with the problems of getting other people in the band, while Akash and Siddharth already have their positions filled up. He gets help from his small street "brother" (Shakti Kapoor) who advises him to make Shruti's father agree for her marriage to Rahul. Meanwhile, Siddharth falls in love with Pia (Kareena Kapoor), one of his classmates, but isn't able to tell her about his true feelings because of his "star" image and also because he is dating her friend Jahnvi (Sameera Reddy). 8eeb4e9f32 15
